Merula blew the top off! Fun place.

Smaller, more intimate venue with great sound, and great bartenders and staff! Shows here are always awesome and on top! Thanks Metro! Would definitely recommend and am gonna keep coming back!

Great venue unless the performance is sold out. Then sightlines can be pretty poor. It's very long and narrow, with the bar along the right hand side as you face the stage, halfway back. So the lines get in the way for a crowded show.

Sold out show so very crowded, bar was still fast but not a huge selection. No ciders even in bottles. Friendly staff and was pretty clean.

I carried a bag in there once. Its slc not Oakland ffs. Lol
21+ all the time. This is a bar.
No, you'll only be able to purchase tickets to whatever show is happening that night, if it isn't already sold out. If you want to get tickets in advance, your best bet is ordering them online.
Yes. They have local bands play all the time.
Ugh 🙁
No you don't have to test just go and enjoy 😉 😊
I was here for emo night. They required either a negative test from the past 72 hours (rapid test or regular would work) or proof of your vaccine card. I brought my vaccine card just because it was the easiest. They did check each person at the door. They should tell you up front when you bought tickets, but if you're still unsure, I would bring a mask and either a test or card just in case.
As long as it's attached to your face.
The can play till one. They close when acts end early.
No. 21 or older.
The booths are against the wall. In my opinion it's not worth the cost. They are semi close to the stage
It depends on the event, but usually yeah
Across the street from the bar . I had concerns about the area but I got over it .
Yes, in as much as you can drink anywhere in Utah. But, yes, they serve multiple draft/bottled beers, wine, spirits, cocktails, etc.
Single level, easy access from the street, should be good.
You can contact the metro music hall by looking up their website for their number or just come in on any show ask the front desk person or ask the bartenders.
Street parking sucks, unless you get there early if it's a big show. You are supposed to park at a 45 degree angle. You can get fined if you don't or towed. They have pay for parking close in private lots usually its 5 or 10 bucks.
They have a huge patio so there's no reason to leave the venue to smoke. Otherwise i believe it depends on the event going on.
Several decent hotels within 1 mile
Yeah it is just a mingle sort of situation. You can sit if you want or stand up and dance. Fun atmosphere.

You need to contact the Metro for those details
I've had a pretty small cross body bag with me almost every time I've been there with no problems. I think they might check jackets as well though, but don't quote me.
The booths aren't private. It's just a big open room with normal tables or booths like most places.
Do I need a covid test if so can it be a at home test
