Extremy condescending, patronizing attendant. I should have read and believed the prior review. A cold day in the Inferno before I spend another moment of my time or a dime in this place.

Cool guitars but if I could give zero stars I would. Unfriendly, prickly women working there. I was in the market for an old Martin acoustic. I wouldn't give her a dime. Upon further review, I'd like to give you a negative one star. Not only are you argumentative, you've made false accusations. I thought my questions were legitimate, I guess you thought they were dumb. I never asked where you got your guitars, I asked if there was a story behind the 1930's era Martin. Many old guitars have a history. Congratulations, you're the first person to earn a negative star!

Incredibly fair pricing and honest appraisal. Top flight restoration and adjustment. A vast and comprehensive inventory ranging from student instruments to the finest concert artist level masterpieces. All housed in a splendid 19th century mansion restored meticulously. An all around wondrous experience visiting and doing business at Vintage Instruments.

Nice experience here! Received lots of help, tried several violins and got the favorite one. Also got a case and when I said I might need to travel with it they gave me more instructions of how to take care of the violin. By the way the kittens are cute!

We would recommend that you contact a piano company like Jacobs Piano or Cunningham Piano. They could better advise you. We don't work with pianos.
Masks are to be worn in the shop. That means over the nose and the mouth. Our customers are very important to us - but please understand that we will keep our distance from you. So, if you notice that we are backing up when you get too close, it's nothing personal. If you are just stopping in for strings and such we have a motion activated hand sanitizer dispenser at the main counter. We ask customers to wash their hands before trying instruments in the shop, and when they are finished. Good for you and for us. The shop is also large, with an abundance of air circulation. In addition to the above, after customers try instruments we set them aside and clean them, using a combination of Ecosurf, Peroxide and alcohol - as appropriate for the instrument surface we are cleaning. This does take time, but it seems a reasonable precaution.
Yes, we do. Please let us know what the banjo is-make, model size, type, and if you would like to bring it in for us to consider. Thank you.
Thank you very much 🌹
We do buy musical instruments, but not all types, and not everyone. So, we recommending letting us know more specifically what instrument you are thinking of selling. Thanks
Yes, thank you, we do have one set. It is $60.
And new ones, as well!
Many thanks for your inquiry. I'm afraid we do not have a flute repair person here. There are people we can recommend, based on what type of flute you are using. Most of the people we know work on the early flutes that we specialize in, but if you are playing a modern flute we will certainly try to make a recommendation.
We do have a very good selection of violins. If you are interested in trying different instruments, please just phone the shop to make an appointment. We'll then be able to talk with you about your preferences and parameters so we will know what to have ready for you when you arrive.
