I've been going to SoPies for nearly a decade. Before yesterday it had been about 3 months since my last visit. Did they change ownership? My 2 friends and I were treated like absolute garbage. We visited at about 7pm on a Tuesday. We ordered 2 orders of 3 slices and 1 beer each. All the seats inside were full except for the tables by the window which they had cleaned and had the chairs on the tables. We asked if we could sit there. The employee, who was perfectly pleasant but seemed new told us we couldn't sit there, but we could stand and eat at the bar, so we did. Our pizza came and just as my bud took his first bite, a different employee came and told us we couldn't eat there. Apparently the manager was sitting on the back bench behind the counter was motioning for us to go..which by the way, she was well within ear shot when her employee told us we could eat at the bar. We told the 2nd employee that we were told we could eat there but he wasn't having it. He told us to go outside. So we stood on the sidewalk, where there were no tables, trying to decide what to do. We decided to go in and ask for a refund for the pizza. After about 1 minute of arguing with the manager who had previously been vacant and sent her employees to do her dirty work, we got a refund. I think she simply didn't want us to cause a scene because we were raising our voice, if for no other reason than to be heard over the noise of the place. Side note, they said they were closing early because business was slow, even though there wasn't enough seating for all their customers because they had about 4 of their tables put up...very odd. I loved this place. And the 2 guys I'm used to seeing run it in the past were understanding and fantastic. The person who eventually identified herself as a manager this time was absolutely terrible. Too bad.

Great pizza in a cozy environment. Come and grab a pitcher of beer (but be careful not to spill on the small tables). The sauce was phenomenal. The pizza was like a New York style with a little bit more structure on the crust.

Very good pizza. The crust and toppings are top notch. I never would've expected a place like this in this area. The prices are reasonable as well. The wings are good but not worth the price. I think it was $12 for 6 or 8. I do not recommend buying by the slice. Its reheated pizza that was dry and didn't represent the quality of their pizza. If I had only tried a slice, it's likely would not return. They take large orders and are quick to get them out to you. Run don't walk to SoPies.

Great pizza deals had to order something else for the road! Very welcoming staff & lots of options. Reminds me of NYC with the open kitchen 🍕🔥💯 Will be back for a whole pie 😋

Pamela is incorrect. There are several options to seat 7. You'd definitely want to call ahead. We seat 10 in the back.
There is no dine in eating as of yet, the staff wears masks and they encourage patrons to wear a mask as well. You can still order in person togo as well as over the phone togo or delivery (within 5 miles)
I concur with the others. I visited in person last Friday and their posted sign at that time said 5 miles.
SoPies is Awesome 🌲
