My family has held many events in the private room at Fred and Ethel’s, including my bridal shower. The food is great and they give you large buffet portions, the event space is large, the pricing is reasonable, and everyone who works there is super nice. I highly recommend booking Fred and Ethel’s for private events.

The wife and I ate here the other night. I ordered the NY strip and it was great. The sides came with it and they were great as well. My wife ordered the Tavern burger and it was very good. She had them make a disco fry with gouda and it came out really good. My only issue with the food was that the tomato bisque tasted like it was straight out of a can. Had that metallic taste and I did not eat more than a couple bites. It was really warm in the place when we were there with made the dining experience a bit unpleasant after a hot day. Over all we still enjoyed the whole experience and plant to visit again to see how things go.

I had very low expectations for this restaurant, and then was pleasantly surprised to find it was actually quite delicious! I had the turkey verde wrap with fries that were perfectly crispy. Staff was friendly, service was quick, and overall reasonably priced.

Flyin south drink was AWESOME, F&E chicken sandwich was *ehhh* would not order again (I personally think buns should be toasted and it wasnt) and it lacked sauce/spread of something so it was on the dry side the short rib grilled cheese …

The lunch menu is very good. The service was excellent.
I'm not sure, I would call the restaurant and ask.
All staff wear masks, and in the dining room, tables are spaced well away from each other. Menus are paper, and limited offerings due to covid. We did not go into the bar area, so not sure about that side. We felt very comfortable during our visit, which says a lot considering we have barely gone out in the past year. Our visit was recent, on Valentines Day.
You'll find a price on the menu when you get there. I don't think they want to worry about updating their prices constantly.

People definitely were walking around with their dogs in the Smithville village last week. There were quite a number of dogs actually. If F&E's won't allow dogs on their patio area, other eateries there do. You can always call and ask.
They took the Brooklyn burger off the menu..no reason to go back to this place..
The Brooklyn burger is off the menu...their is no longer a need to ever return to this place...
