My Garage Door spring snapped and I was unable to open the door. I called Broten at 7:30 AM and by 10:30 AM I was greeted by Jevon with tools in hand. Well when they put in my garage door. I had the jeypad added and remote did work after. I did not care because you have the scum that break into cars and open garage with remote.

Depending on how old the unit is in the garage, the wall console should have a learn button underneath the tinted push button that Activates the garage door. You push that two times, then you push the remote button that you want to control the garage door once (within 30 seconds)and the light on the unit (powerhead) should Flash. The remote control will be programmed at that point.
