Worst products and customer service I've ever seen

If I could leave zero stars, I would. If you are an individual attempting to purchase residential appliances for your home, I do not recommend this business. I sought to work this company as they are a local mom and pop business. In February, we ordered a washer from Albers. Due to current supply chain issues and market conditions, it was understandable that delivery of the ordered product would be delayed. We were initially promised delivery in May. Thereafter, we were promised delivery in June. We had not heard from them in the latter part of June, so we reached out. Now, they inform us that they are not expecting delivery of the product anytime this year. When I explained to them it was incumbent upon them to let their customers know about this, I was berated and I was informed by Dan they had no obligation to do so. Sure, no such obligation may exist. However, any business interested in providing satisfactory customer service, would make the effort of letting their customers know about supply and delivery issues. Obviously, Dan and Albers are not interested in providing good customer service. What was most shocking during our conversation was that Dan said they have been out of the business of residential washers for many months now. In other words, they had no ability to deliver the ordered product for many many months now. Despite being out this business, they never informed us of this even though we would call at least on a monthly basis to check on the status of an order. It's a shame that this local business is not interested in treating their customers and frankly, we have been mislead. I do not recommend this company whatsoever for the purchase of appliances.

I have used the family-owned business for appliance purchases for years. They are so much easier to communicate with then the big box stores. Most recently I purchased a refrigerator and when it got set up it had manufactured defects, no fault of albers appliance store. Talking to Dave and Dan about the problem they sent their in-house service repairman out, who reviewed the problem and verified the factory defects. With that they immediately delivered a new refrigerator. That kind of service is why I always use local businesses such as Albert's appliances.

I can't say enough great things about our experience with Dave and the team at Albers! My husband and I went there based upon recommendations from neighbors. Dave wasn't pushy, walked us through the options, and committed to his word. He was also extremely knowledgeable with fair prices. The install and follow up were on time and well communicated. It was refreshing to deal with a nice, local business and not feel like we had to compromise on price or service. We'll definitely be back for any future appliances!
