If you plan the trip, comply with the processes and choose the services you require well, you will not have problems and you will not pay extra costs. 18 kg of weight the suitcase and be clear about the dimensions of the same. Good treatment by people and punctual is their departures and arrivals.

I changed my mind about this airline, because finally this airline doing everything correctly like the client can be happy😊

I really wish spirit had non stop service to STI from MCO. It's still a great airline.

Never ever fly spirit. Cancelled my flight without even notifying me. Literally fly any other airline at any other cost

You still have to go in thru terninal 4 to check luggage. Then pass thru security. After that a long corridor that takes you over to your gate in terminal 3. It's a pain, but that's the only way you can access the Spirit check-in counter in terminal 4 If you PreCheck online and have nothing but carry-ons, you could enter into terminal 3 directly and would have a much shorter walk to your gate!
Despite the negative things they say, I have used 15 round trips in 4 years and I will continue to do so
When you make it to FLL you will land and get out on the second floor of terminal 4. First you will first have to go to immigration to have your passport and other documents processed. Next, if you have a bag that you checked in, you'll have to make your way to customs which is on the first floor. There you will pick up your bag on the carousels. Even if you have connecting flight you will have to pick up your bags because everyone must go through immigration and customs with their own belongings. Afterwards outside of customs there will be a baggage recheck counter to return your bags to your airline for your next flight. When you're done, exit the building and make a left. You will walk approximately 5 minutes to the next building which is terminal 3. That's where you will take your flight to Chicago. Remember if your gates are the G gates (G1 -G14) you'll be in terminal 4. If your gates are either F1-F11 or E1-E9 you'll be in terminal 3. Hope this helped.
Contact customer service or go to the airport, the relations of each country can be found on the website
You will not get a working number for a desk at the airport, you will need to use a 1-800 # that can be found on the airlines website
And
From experience you may want to check with lost and found department of the airport which you traveled through, maybe your bag was picked up by the local authorities in one of the airport.
No test is necessary for your trip to Fort Lauderdale. Just wear a mask and keep distance from others. Enjoy South FL shiny sun and Enjoy yourself 😉
No, you need a Covid test for return in USA. There is a curfew in DR, there is nothing to do, no people
Just go to the ground floor via elevator or stairs, go to bagage claim and exit. Follow signs to ground transportation and you will be at street level.
I don't know. You may have to check that countries guideline for foreign travelers.
The overnight parking is located by the Airport . Palm or Hibiscus garage
Try getting a service dog certificate.. you wont need a kennel
Not a good experience at the terminal and to get the luggage very difficult, but the flight was okay, that's important
Spirit does not allow any of these two actions on behalf of its employees. Manage a good treatment policy.
I am not sure it is possible. I will call customer service instead of trying online, you night mess it up.
Spirit has one and takes you forever to get thru because they're so slow
Great question Park in The South East corner of the garage or take Park and Ride to avid a long walk
😕
