This a great place to fly your r/c planes . This flying field is well maintained and it have a great rest area to assemble your planes and relax to watch planes fly.

Hello Michael at the field AMPS you can fly anything there is no separation of any just type of flying, Anything Can Fly, you do need to have an AMA card in order to be able to come down and you can fly three times with us after the third time you can decide whether you want to become a member or not. We fly every Saturday so come down and you can look either for Vicar, Marvin , Mark or Roger and will be more than happy to help you out thank you for your message

Can I fly with the Three Month Trial AMA membership here?

Yasmani Lara | Sep 16, 2021
President AMPS | Sep 16, 2021

Yasmani, sorry but in order to fly at AMPS you need full AMA coverage (for the entire calendar) year and club membership. I think that your best bet is Markham Park in Sunrise. You do need to register with the park rangers and obtain a pass, which I believe costs $25.00. I also believe the 3 months AMA membership is accepted- please do not quote me on that as I am not 100% sure.

When is the best time to visit? Is the field active Friday's?

Saturday and Sunday is when the field is the busiest. You will find some people during the week usually in the mornings but not always.
