THIS PARK FAILS THE LOCAL COMMUNITY cp: The role of community recreation centers is especially crucial for communities that lack the necessary facilities to keep their children in safe environments. After school programs provide a refuge for at-risk youth, helping to reduce crime rates, court costs, and other costs to the community. THIS PARK FAILS in all this. I've seen recreation buildings in Long island where local kids are running in and out playing and learning from coaches. The only time you see locals are walking around and summer camp. In a predominantly African American neighborhood the pool is practically segregated and if kids do come and try to play I can assure you the atmosphere created in this building will make it highly uncomfortable so therefore I never see locals come to use. Gentrification is perfect word especially when a public pool is rented for exclusive use to a private company

Please have someone clean up the driveway for cars to maneuver throughout the park. I was invited to a party under the pavilion and had a hard time driving through because signs were in the road laying down like someone was upset and knocked everything over.
