The warning in Hebrews 6:4-6 is written to Christians who have remained faithful about the problem of dealing with fallen Christians. When a Christian falls due to weakness, I can encourage him and teach him using the word of God. But when a Christian purposely reject Christianity and the Bible, I have nothing to use to help him. It is impossible for the faithful Christian to make the willfully sinning Christian to come back. Notice in the parable of the Prodigal Son again. When the younger son wanted to leave, the father did not stop him -- in truth, he would not be able to stop him. He didn't chase after the son because it would have made no difference. But the son chose to come back and that made all the difference in the world. Even the worse, most calloused sinner can come back if he wants too. The faithful Christian's hands are tied until the sinning Christian decides to return.

Proverbs only has 31 chapters.
"God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world" (Hebrews 1:1-2). If you mean direct communication with men, then God has chosen to only communicate through His Son, and His Son has given us the Bible as his communication path. But people can't accept that and constantly look for direct communication from God. If you mean working sustain the universe and doing things, behind the scenes, on behalf of mankind, then that continues as it has always been done. People forget that the Old Testament covers about 4,000 years of history in a condensed fashion. It appears that God was constantly in direct communication with men, but that is a mistaken impression. Only a relatively few people heard from God and that was mostly in critical moments in history. There were decades or centuries without a word from God.
Peter states that a wife is to be treated as "a weaker vessel." By that, he is referring to a delicate piece of pottery, such as a piece of fine china. You don't handle a piece of expensive china the same way you treat a clay flower pot. Thus a husband is to treat his wife is a way that shows the importance and value she has in his life.
John 19:23-24 says they divided his garments into 4 parts, but since the tunic was woven as a single piece, they cast lots for it. So Jesus was at least wearing a robe, tunic, and other items.
The simplest answer is to remove yourself from association with those who would pressure you into compromising your values. They do not have your best interest at heart.
"Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ" (I Thessalonians 5:23). Each person is composed of three things: the physical body, the life (soul), and the spirit. Thus, a person has a spirit but is not exclusively spiritual.
A preacher has the right to be supported in his work (I Corinthians 9:14). Churches are to support preachers (Philippians 4:15-16). Nothing states that the support has to only come in monetary form.

If you don't believe all the Bible, then it means you are picking and choosing what you accept. That puts you in charge of "truth," technically you are saying you are above God, since you are editing His book. "I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed! For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ" (Galatians 1:6-10).

"The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil" (Ecclesiastes 12:12-13).
