Horrible place for your love one! As a family member you are treated so rude! Worse person is the social worker Loraine! If you complains they will laugh in your face and make your love one and your life impossible! Please dont take your love one to this horrible inhuman place!

I used to work there a long time ago and in the beginning it’s was a wonderful place and two months ago I quit because of low pay and people were not friendly anymore I would not recommend anybody to work there

Sad to say that in my opinion this rehabilitation center is sub par. My 83 year old father was admited due to a fall down the stairs. He has a traumatic brain injury, broken thumb, fractures on his head and fractured vertebra. We have been having problems with his care since day one. To date we have found him several times with his hand splint removed, we found him with soup spilled over his face and dried, one nurse fed him laying flat thinking he wasn't supposed to be elevated (of course he choked) but the sign over his bed clearly states to elevate for feeding. One day we came in for a visit and found him on the floor. Another day we walked in to find his CPAP machine broken on the floor and his oxygen turned off. If you have a loved one here, visit regularly and keep a sharp eye out for problems. I visit my father every day. Update: We have removed our father from this facility and took him home. After three weeks at home he is doing much better, he is eating on his own and well, he is walking on his own again with the help of a walker .he is happy, and very talkative. He's almost back to his old self. In my opinion this facility is very large and meticulously maintained but unfortunately in my case, (with the exception of a precious few) most of the staff is under trained and a few are even uncaring. I know being a caregiver is a difficult job because I am a caregiver for the elderly with dementia, but when members of the staff are borderline incompetent, it's time to replace them.

They serve people of all faiths and backgrounds.
No.
How much cost to live there
Having had my parent in a 3 rehab/nursing homes, I would say MJ is a 7-8 out of 10. Things do come up from time to time that Could be done better, but overall it is good. But, it is very important to visit weekly and follow up on appt and therapies because sometimes you will be told conflicting information. They do provide many activities and live weekly musical programs.
I have heard that you rent monthly if you have empty rooms. My brother would be interested in staying a month in Jan. Or Feb. As his son lives about an hour north of there. Would it be possible for him to get a room and at how much? He is ambulatory and self sufficient.
Well if you're not an authorized person or family member I'll be difficult cuz of HIPAA law. But you should call the facility and find out what are the laws and rules every place have different
