Up from Florida visiting family and friends and wanted a Buffalo fish fry so stopped at Hoak's and was not disappointed. Flaky, sweet, with the right crunch on the breaded fish. Yum.

On our way to the "other" place we passed Hoak's and decided it had more of the atmosphere we sought. We waited happily at the patio bar for our table. Cold, tasty drinks served up by Dan, the bartender, helped pass the time. Once seated we were graciously and charmingly looked after by Rebecca. Our drinks were refreshed to our liking and our food was fresh, hot and delicious. A Ruben sandwich for my wife and a bacon cheeseburger for me. The coleslaw was a bit bland, however the fries were amazing. The bill was more than fair. Made the drive well worth it.

I loved sitting right on the water .. made it feel as if your away in some distant place ....even though I live minutes away from the lake ..the service was good they had a young busser clearing away my plates soon as he seen them ...which was right away..the wait staff was polite attentive and the food was good...and came after the appetizer ...not at the same time which is annoying ...had a drink minutes after being seated

Was pretty good. Great view from my seat. Very friendly server.

They are not really, but they are accomodating as best they can. Bathrooms are not.
No, but don't let that drawback prevent you from enjoying the great dinner selections @ Hoak's on the Lake!
Yes
I don't think so, if it does it's a weak signal. I had to turn my wifi off and use data to look something up
The tables are spread out. Everything is disinfected between customers. EVERYONE wears masks. Can not stand around to wait for a table. You go to your car and they call you when your table is ready
They say they serve haddock, but it is not haddock. They are serving COD. You can tell the difference by the size and translucency of the 'flakes'. If you do not know the difference you can always tell by the thin black line that that goes lengthwise down the filet. Cod is a mild flakey fish, but it is NOT haddock. They also serve shrimp, scallops, walleye, perch, crab and lobster.
They are from 11am to 10pm most days! And I agree, food and atmosphere are great!
Just go for fish every Friday very good food and service
No but the side road across the street has a gas station with an atm. It's a two minute walk on the right
