Hang up on you in a crisis. 3 times!!! Update: Psychiatrists do not address trauma and experiences. Instead want to slap that bandaid called medicine on ya.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Nurses were disgustingly rude to my boyfriend who didn't agree with a medication and her response was"do you want to go home or not". Mind you he's been there for 5 days,no therapy, just pills down the hatch and a camera in the room what a joke. He has been asking since the third day when he came home and the same nurse he's been asking made that disgusting comment . I will be getting her name and I will be reporting this I'm very disgusted I was on the phone with him and I've heard the whole conversation when she realized I was on the phone she just walked out of his room very angry with your putrid staff member!

I just wanted to say thanks in the most sincere way possible to Lasting Hope Recovery Center! They helped me through a mental snap I had. They have some of the most amazing people on board as staff. I could list a few, not sure if that would be frowned upon or not. Darn HIPAA laws ( it was sort of a running joke, darn Hippo in the room because of HIPAA ), any who, they got my life back on track. Was more or less a nervous wreck the few days leading up to my admittance. It ought to be named "Lasting Hope Learning Center" I think. They taught valuable life lessons and how to manage mental conditions through group exorcizes - play on words there - and group therapy sessions. The fellow patients almost become second family... Some of them you absolutely don't wish to lose contact with. Another way I look at it is, they provide a better education on self care than any for profit college does. Even through ups and downs I still always tried to have a positive outlook and would try to help other guests where I could. My experience there, as an aspiring writer, gives me fuel for another book I would like to write about mental illness and its gross mistreatment in this country. That's a story for another day.... I want to get involved with LHRC from a loving and supportive person standpoint. Donations... Peer Network Support Personnel. I'm very grateful for this place. I'd go back in a heartbeat if I recognize myself as having another mental episode. Will always keep them in my heart! Thank you all!

Every person I know who's gone here has come out worse than when they went in.

They only have a they don't care program.
i was in there for 2 months, doctor was playing games and they sent me a 60,000 dollar bill
basically a torture chamber, hence why none of their video cameras are recording.
They don’t allow phone or camera because it is like admitting yourself into a concentration camp.
It is a locked ward. Your doctor has to approve discharge.
Their not cool. Nothing about this place is cool.
Do they accept Medicare?
Hi Linda, we haven't located any information about the building.
Sorry, Linda, we're not sure.
I used to be a peer support specialist at Safe Harbor Google located in building up Lasting Hope I have heard that Hannah Francis gives out IDs and helps out with more than just that you might have to be a resident at the shelter give him a call and check it out
Yes they can admit themselves for assessment given they meet the criteria

In my experiences they've always ALWAYS been open. It helps if you call and ask though.
No, the only way someone is brought in that isn't voluntary would be from police or for a board of mental health. All signing in has to be done and agreed to by the patient themselves.
You can also go to your nearest emergency room if you cannot be safe. There you will get to see an MD and if they feel it's needed they can find you a bed at a psych hospital and transport you there
