Walked in with mild Covid symptoms; mainly for a very sore throat. Filled out pages of info and was told that I had an uncollected balance of $125 from 2017. I had paid $40 for a breathing treatment at the time of the visit then, but they forgot to charge me the $125 at that time? I had no way of verifying any of this, so they wanted payment before I was to be seen again, plus today's $10 copay against my insurance. I paid it. Waited a few minutes and was led back by a Nurse to a room, asking me health questions etc. Things got weird when she started telling me about her Husband who was currently in ICU with Covid and told me to stop talking so I didn't spread it to her, (while she's wearing an N95 mask). She leaves and comes back with her Covid stick so I was like wait wait, nobody told me that I had to test, but submitted anyway to it. She was very agitated and I was wondering why she got so aggressive with the process? She leaves and another Nurse takes over and apologizes to me for what just went down. She tells me that the test is covid positive. All I wanted was for them to treat my very sore throat, which they wrote an Rx for a steroid and a lidocaine mouthwash. Does a test really matter at this point? It seems that nature of my visit was more about the $ & billing, than me as a patient. Poor unprofessional behavior here.

If I could give a negative 1 I would. Went in with a document from my insurance company indicated I was covered. Member number and all information included. They would not take me without a plastic card. I called my insurance company and was told all they needed to do was call to verify. I went to another Treasure Coast Urgent Care. They had no problem caring for me. A phone called confirmed my coverage. I was take care of. They do not care about you. Do not use them.

I was treated like royalty. So nice to me and helpful too. I didn't have to wait long to see a PA. OVERALL under the circumstances of being there it was a pleasant experience and I thank everyone there.

Went in on Friday, today is Wednesday and still waiting for then to send Rx to my pharmacy. Then they wanted me to come in AGAIN to be verified by another physician assistant
