Very rude and doesn’t help out with anything. I found my cat and they won’t send an officer to help me get her out of the situation she’s in whatsoever. Lady was also yelling at me on the phone.

I should have tape recorded this conversation, but unfortunately I didn't. My neighbor's dog barks continuously all day long. I called Animal Control. Here are their steps: 1) Send a letter that someone has complained. 2) Meet with an "animal control officer", give a statement, and tickets could possibly be issued. 3) Testify in court, so tickets could be held up. I asked, "so how do we make the dog stop barking?" Her reply, "oh, we can't make them get a bark collar, make them get rid of the dog, or in any way stop the dog from barking." So, how are my tax dollars being put to use in this government bureaucracy again? Get rid of this organization if they aren't going to do anything about it! Absolutely worthless!!!

Okay animal control does not do anything that they used to do. In fact to come pick up a cat you have to have it contained. Come out pick it up if it's tacking people and it has a has a potential to attack a child. Outside and if it's attacked my child. I don't want it .around I mean they should come pick it up especially if they're animal control them I mean that's just like a lawsuit waiting to happen! And if I'm going to pay you $40 to get an animal you can contain it yourself because that's what it's paying for.

Went to go get my delta booster. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Grateful for the role they play in our community.

Questions & Answers

What is the procedure when you call in to report a barking dog? Is there a law against barking dog barking excessively in Lincoln, Ne. or Lancaster County? Does the first letter go to an address and/or a dog's owner?

After a certain time at night I think you can call the police

At a new apartment. I see this husky left on someone second story balcony day and night. It’s too high up to see if there’s food/water. I never see the dog go on a bathroom walk. Please can I do anything about this??

CALL a wildlife rescue

New neighbors and I run a daycare from my home. Their dogs bark all the time and can’t have windows open because kids don’t fall asleep. I have been here 14 years and so tired of new people moving in and disrupting everything! What can I do?

There's a dead badger or opossum in the middle of vine street. Wondering about removal.
