Great food, friendly staff, and coffee that wasn't burnt (unlike several other breakfast places I've recently tried in the area that had stars higher than they deserved). Even the bathrooms were nice! I had the Victorian Benedict and spouse had the Key Lime French Toast, all of which we are eager tp come back again for, as well as try other things on the menu. Portion sizes were great and not too overwhelming; we were able to finish our plates and feel full without wasting anything. Highly recommended as THE breakfast place in Bend I've enjoyed...so far.

Got excited to eat here todayfor my wife's birthday, got up early arrived about 7:45 expected a line already but no line so that was nice. It has been about 5 years since we've have been there. Got the chicken fried steak. It was the most bland meal I have ever had, there was no flavor at all in the gravy or the steak. It was like eating special diet hospital food. I only ate about 1/4 and just couldn't eat anymore. Tried my wife's classic Benedict and again no flavor even the sauce was just plain and had absolutely no flavor. We will see how the dog likes the left overs. Plus they automatically added a gratuity to the bill. They did fix it and said that in the system some one put there were 22 people sitting at our table that can only fit 4. I get it mistakes happen but be on the lookout and check your bill before paying. Over all very dissatisfied and will not be back or recommend. I do remember 5 years I liked it but its gone way downhill. Gave it one star because the bloody mary was ok.

Delicious and creative brunch restaurant. I would have liked just a bit more mushrooms in my benedict, but the whole meal was excellent nonetheless.
