I recently moved to Wilmington and visited Tanglez after being referred by a family member. When I called to make my appointment, Christina was so sweet and she hooked me up to see Kelsey after mentioning my curls needed some love. What I appreciated most was how Kelsey asked what I was looking to achieve and boy, did she get me there! I was long overdue for a haircut and color touch up so we focused on that. Being a curly girl herself, Kelsey shared lots of tips on styling just when I thought I had uncovered all the tricks. My two best takeaways were that I can achieve my best curls on my fine hair by using less products (I was layering leave in conditioner, curl cream and gel!) and also replacing my traditional diffuser with a hot sock. I am very grateful to have been paired with Kelsey and look forward to my next visit with her. Shout out to Diana too-she also made me feel so welcome!

Kelsey Demeritt did my hair today and I am extremely happy working with her. This was my first time with her. I was impressed with how thorough she was. She kept me apprised of what she was doing and why at all times. She made sure I was comfortable as well. The best part was the amazing shampoo. She gave a great head massage. She also waxed my eyebrows and they look great. I already have my next appointment scheduled with her. I would recommend her to my friends and family and anyone else that needs her services. Much appreciated.

I just finished my first visit to Tanglez... My stylist's name is Kelsey Demeritt, and I couldn't be happier with my experience thus far! I have curly hair, and have had some nightmare experiences with salons in my past, but right from the start Kelsey's positive demeanor calmed and comforted me. She then shared her knowledge and experience, along with offering immediate suggestions, and I found myself soothed by her comforting confidence. I left with a cute haircut, a lighter head AND mood, along with a plan to return in 2 weeks for a keratin hair treatment. I can hardly wait!! This curly haired gal definitely suggests Kelsey 😀

Absolutely love this place, the staff is so friendly, very nice and clean salon. MacKenzie is brilliant she is truly talented and I am so grateful I found her, I will never go to another stylist again. Love this place, always look forward to my me time there. 😍
