Stay here many times and always hate to leave. My one question is why are the two new cabins not available online or when I ask at Marina I was handed a pamphlet and told to check in on line or call.

Can our15 yr old(young)Cat ,MR QUINN camp w/ us!!???
The white sandy beach is too far to walk (probably 3 miles, through town) BUT there is a path to the edge of Snow's Cut where you can dip toes into water, HOWEVER, it is VERY SWIFT dark water flowing from the Cape Fear River to the ICWW and some say gators in there.... I would not swim, but I wade with my dog.
Thanks after much debate and probably not a regular to going camping I may hold off and just use there grill or fire ring. BTW the once they offer what type is it?
Yes, they have to remain on a leash at all times.
There are a few small cabins, I think primitive, if you only needed shelter to sleep.
It is about a 5 minute drive to Carolina beach and about 8 minutes to Fort Fisher.
Many people would leave their phones to charge in the bathing houses or they'll just charge them in their cars. You can always try to buy a portable charger at a store if you want to in the end. Totally understandable if you feel hesitant in leaving your phone at the bathhouse, this is my 5th year coming to this campground and I haven't had any issues yet
It's about $10 per night
Yes, seniors get a discount on campsites. Not sure about other things.
They have signs now that say no fishing where the boats are docked I'm not sure about bank fishing
Nope, boat dock at the marina. Saw people with their boats parked at their campsite when not in use.
I saw multiple cab-overs last weekend in campsites.
No. You must register for a campsite and pay.
You can. I do not know rates though
Yes
Yes as long as they are on a leash
