My mom moved in to Coastal Pointe in April of 2022. It was her first time in an assisted living facility and being removed from her complete independence of living in her home of over 60 years. Moreover, we moved her 5 hours away from her hometown to be near us and the grandkids. The entire team at Coastal Pointe has been nothing short of amazing....very accommodating, patient, caring and hospitable to mom and her immediate family. In addition, the food is great and the activities are very thoughtful and fun.

After over one year at Coastal Pointe, the experience for my mother continues to be exceptional. During most of the first year, she engaged in many of the activities offered and has always been treated with kindness, an authenic dedication to caregiving service, and an uniquely impressive eye for detail. After suffering a broken hip and a loss of mobility and respective inability to carry on the same level of activity, she continues to receive special care and understanding. The staff has been friendly and the administration has always been helpful and understanding. You can always have the peace of mind that the care at Coastal Pointe assisted living will be special. We have recently entered into the Hospice phase of care for my mother and the continued support and kindness that have addressed both my mother's and my special needs have been so gratifying. It has been a blessing that my wife and I found Coastal Pointe for this part of my mother's life journey. We are indeed indebted to the staff for the extraordinary understanding, patience, and compassion that permeate their professional caregiving.

We recently took a tour at this community. The energy when I walk in was positive and engaging. From the receptionist Cathy, who not only greeted us but also answered some questions about the community’. She asked us if we wanted something to drink until she got someone to help us. But, Joseph was a doll, he not only was kind and had patience for all of our questions. He gave us information that no other community we visited gave us, Dad is a veteran & served during war time (he's eligible for a program through the VA). The community was clean, it was bright, it has a ocean feel with the colors and the furniture all over the community. We liked the size of the apartments and that everything was included in the monthly fee, no levels of care fees as Dad needs more care over time. Also, no medication management fees, as the Arbor & The Landing had in their prices. We happen upon a happy hour during our tour in a cafe. There were a lot of seniors have a good time and enjoyed the energy between the staff and the seniors. Would highly recommend this community. It definitely looks and feels brand new. Dad will be happy at his new home soon.
