Some of the most majestic views I've ever experience on a hike. You will pay for them on the way out via Pinch In trail though. It was 73° and I took in about 60oz of water and I was being reserved with my intake. We also had a cool breeze on the way back so if it's warmer and no breeze you better drink more. Took us about 2 hours once we started hiking up from the flats. The road to Pinch In is rough in some parts but we saw all kinds of vehicles that made it in. Personally, I would not drive a small sedan. The sedans I did see were all-wheel drive. Lots of camp sights along the way too. There are several on the flats next to the river to Daffodil Flats so if camping is your thing, bring your gear. We hiked with two small dogs and they did well. Bring them water too. We don't use polls either and survived. Take breaks on the way back up and you'll be fine. We saw all fitness levels in people.

Not an easy in and out. Trail is well marked, but rough in parts. River at the bottom is worth the visit. Would have loved to do the canyon loop, but still worth the cold water dip in the river and the climb out.

Am extremely strenuous and technical trail. Gorgeous views all around. Take hiking poles, it will help with supporting yourself as you descend and ascend. Loose rocks, gravel, boulders, thorns are some of what you should be prepared for. …

One of my favorite trails in the area. You will get a workout.

Yes to both. Emphasis on strenuous. Take hiking poles to help support you. Enjoy!
