If you want to get out and enjoy the city of Wilson, NC... this is where you should start. The interesting and vast amounts of wind powered machines are both unique and captivating. The park itself is also well maintained and clean. Depending on when you visit, you may see a concert or catch a local event in progress. Whirligig is also surrounded by a plethora of nice stores and restaurants to visit. Theres also a bunch of industrial scenery and art work that is great for photography. There's really no other reasons to visit Wilson, so stop by if you happen to be passing through!

Cute, clean little park. Fascinating moving whirligigs sculptures with nice info about the creator. Our trip was even better since there was a food truck there during our visit.

So much fun watching everything spin. My daughter was loving every second of it. The winds were great for flying a kite. There are nice sitting areas that you could social distance and also a huge lawn area to picnic. Trash bins have a nice peddle, so you don't need to open with your hands. Overall, a nice area to enjoy some fun in the sun.

Open park with tables, grassy area, and whirligigs giving a carnival type look to it. Pizza place and a local brewery right next door got us out of heat and having a nice treat. Then we headed back out to enjoy park again before leaving.
