DR.BOWLING SAVED MY LIFE.I ALLOWED ANOTHER Dr.TO DO A REPLACEMENT HIP SURGERY ON MY RIGHT HIP. TWO WEEKS AFTER MY SURGERY I DEVELOPED A SEVERE INFECTION 3 DIFFERENT KINDS SO THE DR.WENT IN AND REMOVED THE HIP AND CLEANED IT AND PUT IT BACK IN. THEN I SPENT 12 WEEKS IN SPECIAL CARE TO HELP ME GET RID OF THE INFECTION AND HAVE THEREPY. BUT WHEN I GOT HOME MY HIP JUMPED OUT OF PLACE 5 TIMES HAD TO CALL 911. WHEN I WENT THE FIFTH TIME THERE WAS A NURSE. WHO GOT ME AN APPOINTMENT WITH BOWLING I THANK GOD FOR HIM

My appointment was for 3: P.M. 4-28-21. My primary care Dr. had referred me to Dr.Bowling I arrived at 2:45 P.M. as I was a new patient and knew there would be paperwork to fill out. When I arrived. I asked how many patients were ahead of me and was told only two. I asked this question as it was the time-of-day Dr.s start getting backed up. Soon after I arrived, I was taken in and my shoulders were X-rayed. I was taken back to the waiting area were as I waited while other patients arrived in addition to people already waiting. Remember I was told only two in front of me, there were four other people waiting when I walked in. Around 4:P. M. I asked the receptionist what was going on as I and one other person were still waiting while everyone else had been seen. I also noticed that all these other patients were escorted to checkout by the same person who I discovered was Dr. Bowling at 4:35 P.M. The receptionist had told me these people were seeing someone else when I asked why it was taking so long. All this waiting time and not once did anyone approach me and say we are behind and will get to you soon. Around 4:15 P.M. I was taken to an exam room and told that the Dr. would be with me shortly. Before this my wife was finally allowed to come up from the car and join me in the exam room. At 4:35 P.M. still no doctor and my wife and I walked out. In the hallway there was this person looking at X rays and my wife asked if he was the doctor and he replied yes. He said he was just now looking at my X rays. After a few choice words and with the doctor saying you can go to another practice, but just see what you get. In all my 80 years I've never heard a doctor disparage another practice and doctor Bowling did just that. There was no apology given for being late nothing to even show that this doctor had any kind of empathy. This doctor's staff could learn a lot about notifying patients about delays. After I came home and read all the reviews, I could find about Dr Bowling I decided to write about what happened, and that make part of a group that has written similar reviews. Dr. Bowling may be good at what he does. But in his wake, there are some unhappy patients. If you have time to burn, then feel free to visit this practice but read all the published review before you sign up for the long-haul.
