Excellent Gyro plate. Served fresh, abundant. The only negative is for service. Our server did the best she could, but we had to wait quite a while to pay at the register. The owner walked by and said our server would be with us soon. A woman who I assume was his wife did the same, and walked away. If you have time to explain the wait, you have time to complete the transaction, not make the customer wait. The owner finally came by a second time and took our money. He was polite and chatted with us, however, the service should be prompt and his busy server needs help.

On our way to Nashville, we spent the night in Sparta, Tennessee and had an enjoyable dinner at Achilles Greek Grill. It is run by a very nice greek family. They have an extensive menu and several kinds of beer on tap. The food is good and very reasonably priced. We like it enough to come back for breakfast.

What we ordered was great. With a large choice of food we found something for every one. From Breakfast, to veggie pizza. Sorry didn't get any pictures kids cleaned the plates to fast. Yum

The waitress was very nice. The food, I found, to not have much flavor. I ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich plate. The first 4 bites were ALL BREAD! The peppers and onions were visible but completely tasteless. Would I order the same thing again? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Would I return there again for a second meal? Only in the event that there were no other choices!

Questions & Answers

How old do I have to be to work there? I know your "Need Help" sign says 21, but the young boy who works there does not look to be any older than 19.

The boy is in highschool and the sign says 21 because Achilles is now serving beer and you gotta be 21 to drink or serve them.
