Dr Johnston was a very professional provider. She was pleasant and kind and took all the time necessary. I did have issue with a $39 contact fitting fee, considering I already wear contacts: the front desk said because my prescription changed the fee applied. Rather ridiculous, seems like a way to grind a little extra money out of patients without doing anything. The prescription was paid for in the exam. Nothing to fit or nothing to show me to do…I already know how to put them in and take them out. I would definitely recommend the provider. Just the offices billing practices are a bit questionable. Buy your contacts online—very high priced through them.

I was turned away twice because the receptionist would not do her job and check with someone who knows the answer to my question about insurance. When I went the staff was rude. The doctors were kind but I was not happy with how I was being treated.

For Regence federal employees, there are three insurance options: we take the high and low option through VSP. We are out of network for the other two choices, Davis Vision and FEP BlueVision. If you have any questions about your specific plan, do feel free to call and we can discuss it with you.
We can generally put lenses into a frame, but we would need to see the frame. You're welcome to come in any time and meet with an optician. No appointment is necessary. Thank you!
