What an amazing close to a great day in Delaware! By google search I was lucky enough to find this tiny corner of heaven in New Castle County, DE. I never even heard of Townsend DE. I was greeted by a smiling young lady who got my complex order correct on first try! I ordered the burger special. It was a colossal hand-made burger with practically any accoutrement one could imagine. I ordered it with well-done fries. It arrived cooked perfectly and the fries were exquisite. I chatted with the owner Anthony while waiting. I was amazed at the quality and portion size especially in today’s outrageous food cost inflation. I only wish I lived closer. I can not wait to go back to sample the pizza. It looked divine — perfect thin crust, just the way I love it. Based on the fact that I could not consume my entire meal due to its generous portion size, even a slice of pizza during this trip was out of the question. If you are a local, lucky you. If you are driving through DE, this little slice of heaven is absolutely worth a stop.

My family and I love Little Italy!! Everyone is always friendly and very welcoming. The owner knows me by name. Our food is always great!! Pizza is the best around!! They always have great and affordable specials. In addition they just catered a birthday party for us, everyone was asking were we got the subs. They were great!!! We give Little Italy 5 stars all day!!

A very well deserved 4.7 on google maps. Anthony wanted me to try the pizza. Cheesesteak Adventure, HELLO! I got the PINO, a cheesesteak with Sauce. I am glad I got to taste the sauce. The sauce is pretty freaking tasty. This was a nice ‘controlled mess’ of a cheesesteak. Cheese and sauce chopped thru perfectly. The PINO came with peppers. I don’t think I would have liked the peppers without the sauce. Definitely going back for the Pizza
