First, I want to commend the Manager and Assistant Manager, that was there during the day when we checked in, for their gracious hospitality, respect and outstanding professionalism. However, my complaint is against the night Desk Clerk, Dionne (sp). She was very rude, confrontational, disrespectful, immature and very unprofessional. Because of her actions, I will never stay there again, I will suggest to my friends, relatives and acquaintance not to stay there, as well. All of my family live in Detroit and I spend weeks in hotels when I visit my family every year. However, In the future, I will make sure I do not choose to stay at the Extended Stay Detroit Roseville Hotel ever again! Actually, my cousin, who is a Detroit pastor, will have a large delegation of people coming to the city in September and I definitely let him know not to book rooms there. I suggest you take a look at the video of Friday, June 17th and see for yourself!

I started going here 2006, took a long break to come back totally disappointed. Although staff are great, the quality doesn't exist anymore. I saw a roach and lost it.. It was late and I got no sleep. Everything I had was put in a bag and tied up on hanger! The outside looks better then inside. I am gonna miss staff but don't do bugs. Not returning..

Positive: I had moved from a horrible hotel nearby. This hotel was awesome! Clean, very friendly staff, especially miss connie at the front desk! One note, the kitchens do not have dishes, silverware etc so you need to get some. There is a 24 hour Meijer nearby. Negative: No, loved it.

If I could rate the staff alone they’d get a solid 4 stars. The staff was very friendly and demonstrated a willingness to help each time I interacted with them. Now that that’s been noted, let’s talk about the room. At first glance the room looked decent. When you walk in you see a kitchenette the bathroom and the sleeping area. I only booked for 1 night because I was just passing through so I thought it was gonna be great. However, when I settled in I noticed a lot of things. The bedding was soiled, all the towels in the bathroom were stained, and one chair in the room had some yellowish substance on it. The tables and the bathtub was dirty. Disclaimer: THIS LOCATION HAS ROACHES!! 2 roaches ran under the refrigerator during my stay. I bet you wanna know if I got refunded for the trip… well I did not. The awesome staff member did everything she could to check me out but the system wasn’t allowing her to. I called corporate and they stated that ESA-Detroit-Roseville management went to inspect the rooms and they didn’t see roaches so they wouldn’t issue a refund. The way they clean the rooms I HIGHLY doubt they THROUGHLY inspected the room. Word of advice don’t stay at any of those hotels around the Little Mack area including this location! If you can help it spend a little more and stay somewhere you’ll be comfortable and care about you the cleanliness of the hotel/rooms ESPECIALLY during a PANDEMIC. #Trash.

I just went there to go visit the rooms I wanted to see how clean they were because they had got totally bad questionnaires about their rooms and I went there to ask questions and I didn't see any bed bugs the Halls did not smell bad I don't know who went there and put all those bad questions mirrors about their rooms but it was clean to me and I was on the first floor and I went on the second floor I didn't make it to the third floor but it was totally clean and I went in three rooms
It depends, join their Extended Perks program and call the 1-800 number and see what they can do for you. It's a cheaper weekly rate if you stay for a month. But the Perks program saves you more than outright.
