Diamond Jack is an amazing boat ride. No matter how many times one takes the ride it's always the same relaxing, invigorating and calm experience. Love it!!!

Pretty cool river walk, the water was clear and blueish, the park well maintained for the most part. There were quite a few people jogging, there's a carousel, a cafe, plenty of seating along the walk... It was also pretty cool that you can see Canada right across the river. We visited 1st week of June. When we got there around 4pm it was very warm, within less than an hour the temperature dropped drastically. As soon as we left the area, it was very warm again. Definitely a must when visiting Detroit.

Beautiful ! Across the water is Canada! You can see the bridge from here. There is a kids park and when open it looks like the is a concession stand with food and drinks. Nice place for a walk and pictures.

Beautiful place to walk. Doors on the bathroom stalls are kinda iffy..i had one that didn't lock. Gives you a beautiful view of the city of Detroit as well as a beautiful view of Canada across the river. People don't Detroit enough credit for how beautiful the city is because of the all violence that takes place outside the city. Also it's very damn easy to almost end up on the bridge to Canada so you have to really be paying attention. There is a carousel on the river walk perfect for your little ones. Parking is not bad at all and is free so that's a plus! Usually security is there if that helps make you feel a bit more safe. It's very beautiful to walk.

Yes. I can now see why it was voted the Best Riverwalk in the Country.
Yes, along the river's edge. Many people place their poles over the rails and fish.

It depends on the day and time you go down there, Atwater has a few spaces for free and there is an unattended lot for 3 bucks, also right at the river walk parking lot it's free but fills up quickly. I think it's 20 bucks for the parking garage.
Upto the Joe Louis Arena backdoor entrance
Not sure. I was visiting
Sorry for the delay sweetie... Honestly it's always open... There's always something going on along the entire river walk... There's a skate park on the other end right under the Canadian🌉Bridge super nice I love it in Detroit it's always something to do!
No
Down by the eatery and carousel it's free parking
Yes they all are Have you visited the website of the particular place ❓ Hours of operation are posted for potential customers
Because there are housing residents who complain about noise, and safety issues at night. Watch the news and you'll know.
The sign says you can catch everything from Walleye to Perch. As a Mom take your daughter to a trout pond where she's guaranteed to catch a fish.
Any of the hotels mentioned in the other reviews are good. I have stayed at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance. Some of the rooms have great views. There is one catch to these hotels, no free parking. Parking,at least to me, is expensive. Make sure while you are there to ride the People Mover.
