This place is wonderful! Everyone was so nice! I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate them and everything they did for me and my case. They don't just offer help, they offer hope. I highly recommend if you need help, you should call them! They know what they're doing!

I was needed a Restraining Order and got discouraged with some of the attorneys I called then found Help U File, and spoke to Nicolas Jaynes-Creel, from the moment I sat down I was comfortable. Already feeling very intimidated and scared I knew I was not an easy client but he was calm, smart and i could breath knowing that he was going to help me and saw my case as strong. We won and I did get my restraining order but if i need future help on anything I would go to him. Thank you Nicolas for being so helpful and nice and not making me feel like a basket case that I know I was. Highly recommend if looking for legal help to ask for him personally, he truly is awesome and his staff was very kind too. Me personally not that I hope to see him again, but if I have an issue he is the only one I will call. Thank you !!!!

Be VERY CAREFUL when dealing with this company. They charged my husband THOUSANDS of dollars to help him file through his previous divorce and custody case, then, in turn helped his EX (same case number) file AGAINST him for change in custody, and provided our personal information to her. COMPLETE CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Stated somehow they missed it when they cross referenced. How do you miss the same exact case number? There is NO WAY! Not an apology, no remedy to assist in the mistake, just excuses! They just want the money!! We now have to file complaint with BAR association and the courts. If I could rate ZERO or Neg that’s what it would be!! The order has been EXACTLY the same for MANY YEARS and to justify why they found it acceptable was because they didn’t see the cross reference. Instead of righting a wrong, they want to paint a picture as to why it’s ok. Admitting a mistake doesn’t justify the act! This place is a joke and the stutter on the other end of the line didn’t help the situation. YOU ADMITTED TO FAULT NOW WANT TO JUSTIFY ONLINE??!! It doesn’t take away the fact that you assisted BOTH PARTIES IN THE SAME CASE!! NO ONE WOULD WANT TO ACCEPT THAT! It’s morally and legally WRONG no matter how you paint the picture. Your office gave out personal information to someone that has a restraining order for kidnap against them!! If that’s not harm, you’re in the wrong profession! I suggested you go relook the case, but you wanted to make excuses instead. Putting children in harms way is HARM!!

You cannot levy or use collection processes on SDI. The award builds up if he doesn't pay, and you get to charge 10% interest until it's paid. If he has other assets like savings or multiple cars, perhaps you can levy on those. This is not something to do yourself yourself - talk to an attorney.
The court will give you forms for free. You will qualify for a waiver if you are on public assistance or if your income is below a number, depending on how many dependents you have. Court self-help centers can assist, or we can do them at a reasonable cost.
Court fees are $435 to file a case, unless you qualify for a fee waiver. Our costs vary because you can sometimes do some of the paperwork yourself, but you can generally figure on costs starting around $700 to $1000, depending on what's involved.
Hi there that's a complex question! Our prices vary depending on what services you need, please call the office at (916) 454-4900.
This kind of case does not have a simple answer. You will need an attorney who works in probate and civil litigation. Call us and we can make a referral that meets your needs.
Hi! Please give us a call so we can further assist you. Our number is (916) 454-4900.
That depends on what legal issues your case involves and where you are located! If you are in Sacramento and it is regarding any family law issues you will need to go to the William R. Ridgeway Family Relations Courthouse located at 3341 Power Inn Rd, Sacramento, CA 95826. Please give us a call at (916) 454-4900 and we can help!
We generally charge by the documents needed, so the price will vary. Our fees are often a third of what attorneys will charge.
We can certainly help with that. Call 916-454-4900 and try to get in early, because if you want to be in court the next day, you have to give notice by 10 AM. If you get in later, you can get to court as soon as Thursday morning. If there is a situation where the children are in danger, call 911 ASAP - don't wait to go to court.
Who could not help? The help u file people?
There are forms for all the things you do in Family Court. The court has a self-help center, but they mostly put on workshops or help on-line. We help many people with those forms.
We now can offer attorney services for guardianships and estates. Please call for an attorney appointment.
We responded to this outside this thread.
We are a private business, so we charge for our services. There are free workshops through the court.
