I entered this place, I asked for a table and they told me that in a few minutes; I asked to go to the bathroom when I returned, all the people who came after me sat them down. And they excused themselves because I went to the bathroom. A restaurant should have a waiting list and who comes first and who comes last. The employees are all poorly organized, there is NO PERSONNEL to take control! It all starts with the service from the entrance!

The good The only thing that I don't like was the never check on us to see if we needed anything else or a refill on our drinks

I had pupusas (rice dough) a vegetarian and a revolt (pork rinds with cheese) they were both super delicious, I should have said excellent. This was a Sunday afternoon and I believe they did not have enough employees to handle the number of customers that particular day. I plan to return because the quality of the food justifies it.

I have been eating at this Balompie with my family since the 1990's. It seems under new ownership now and while the pupusas and salvadorean cuisine remains good quality; fresh and good ... if you do choose to come here expect to : 1) pay high prices, (2.00 for two tablespoons of crema that will arrive after you are finished with your meal yet will be on your bill) 2) expect to receive very Low customer service with a serious wait time for them to give you the attention and help you with basic customer needs like wanting salt if they serve you "yuca cosida" and wanting at least One curtido refill when you order more than 9 pupusas, lastly an apology and a bill adjustment and reprint when the bill has discrepancies. The owner lady nor the man that is acting as a server don't show any desire to help the customers. Its 2022 and San Francisco has plenty other GREAT salvadorean cuisine options where they will appreciate your business with both good food and good customer service_ maybe take out would work best to not be disappointed 😉, up to you.

Good question, we have to make that suggestion, to the restaurant owner. Since the food is Salvadoran. And that will give more enhancement to the establishment.
