I give this place 2 stars because of a number of things. Initially when I called the place to rent the storage unit I asked them what the size options were as well as pricing, they told me what the options were and after I had told them which size I wanted they told me that it was available and quoted me $160 for that size, they got my information as well as my credit card info and charged my card for the total amount plus fees, they then told me to come down and fill out the rest of the paperwork and get the keys. I came down and the next day and when I told them the name they said they had nothing available under that name. After some digging they had figured out that they in fact gave me a unit in Sacramento and charged me for it, I called the Roseville location and spoke to someone in Roseville so to me it was confusing that they would give me a unit in Sacramento when the number I called was the Roseville location, especially since it would be a 40minute drive for me. The guy at the front also said it was weird that had happened. After telling me the storage size I wanted wasn’t available in Roseville I had to opt for a much bigger one or much smaller. I went with the bigger one since I knew my stuff wouldn’t fit in the smaller one. That unit was also a lot more expensive. All he could offer me for that was 50% off of the first months rent. I had also made sure to put my card on file so they can automatically charge me, the next month I get charged a fee and they tell me it’s a late fee for not paying on time, I told him I put my card on file and he insisted I didn’t and couldn’t reverse the fee. Either way, this place wasn’t the best. Also the gate access is closed on major holidays so if you have any holiday decor or anything else you need you should make sure to get it in advance.

Everything was great till I tried to leave my RV and walk home five blocks away. You need to set up some way to get out of the yard without your RV. I'm too old to climb ten foot fences. I was stuck for an hour till I just took my RV back home. It was the only way I could get out. Very frustrating. Update: the staff here explained very clearly the reason for not having the gate open from an inside keypad. It would be too easy to get in and out. Having someone drop you off is a easy enough process. I just want to thank the staff for enlightening me to the rules and explaining them. They are great! I feel they have a hard job and they have been polite and very helpful in every way . A good choice for truly secure storage. Thanks security public storage staff !

Matthew is awesome at his job!!!!! He knows his job and does 110% at all time. Extremely knowledgeable and very polite and friendly to all. Also does amazing explaining u haul rentals which I have done with him numerous times.. Don't ever let go of Matthew you will lose a lot of business thank you and you deserve a 10-star Matthew thank you for all your help your knowledge your support and your friendliness and your very easy to speak with.
