It’s a pleasure working with somebody like AnnMarie. She is a dedicated Realtor in the Antioch Pittsburg area who puts her clients first. AnnMarie does a great job communicating, and ultimately getting results for our clients. I would recommend her if you are considering buying or selling in the Antioch Pittsburg area of the East Bay.

We used AnnMarie to sell our home and purchase our new home. We were connected to AnnMarie through the VA referral service, and that was the best decision we made. Throughout the process of selling our house, AnnMarie made sure we knew everything we needed to do to make our house the best condition for selling. She was spot on with her advice and we were able to sell our house with no problems, in fact, it was very easy thanks to her guidance and suggestions. When it came to purchasing a new home, AnnMarie worked tirelessly by showing us house after house, and writing up offer after offer. She personally met with us at least a dozen times, sometimes travelling from the opposite end of the Bay Area, to show us homes we were interested in purchasing. We ended up buying during an extremely competitive time and AnnMarie put so much thought and attention into each offer we wrote to creatively edge out the competition. We eventually secured our new home, but as problems arose with the purchase, AnnMarie took the time to solve our problems. Most other agents would have been done by the time escrow closed, but she was instrumental in helping us rectify issues with our new home to ensure that we were able to transition quickly. I would not hesitate to use AnnMarie again and highly recommend her to anyone, selling or buying a new home.

My first impressions of AnnMarie were that she is friendly, communicative and easy going. After being pawned off on an assistant, twice, by another unprepared Realtor, I was searching for someone who was reliable, consistent and could make my first home buying experience enjoyable- despite this unprecedented market. AnnMarie was available on a moments notice and came prepared. She reviewed every inspection report and disclosure form. She even had them printed out for my reference for each and every house we toured- and that was A LOT! She communicated clearly and promptly, and made me feel like her only client. Once we got into escrow AnnMarie made sure everyone on her team kept up with the designated timelines. Even with unforeseen COVID-19 delays by contractors, AnnMarie immediately contacted other company’s to keep us on track. She is incredibly well-connected in the community and can help put you in contact with local contractors to get home renovations, small or large, done!! AnnMarie was the wealth of knowledge I needed to buy my first home, she answered my countless questions and explained the “next steps” in terms I could understand. She is a VA loan expert, but works with civilians as well! Trust me, if you work with AnnMarie Barajas to purchase your next home, you will be so thankful you did! You can bet my brand new house I’ll contact AnnMarie whenever I go to sell and buy again!

I just wanted to take some time out to leave a great review on this young lady that deserves this kind of feed back. I have bought and sold a ton of homes through out my years and up untile now, i have never continually used the same agents over and over again. Cause come on, they come a dime a dozen. But this agent has changed that for me. This agent has an obvious understanding of the real estate market and process, from beginning to end, that my other agents just simply never had. So yeah, i was taken back by it and and i tell you, its pretty hard to impress me. I didn’t understand how she had more knowledge in certain areas that all my prior agents never had, untile i got to hear her back story. She worked her way up. She has worked on all aspects required to complete a real estate transaction, from start to finish, and that is what separated her from my other agents. She didnt just take her real estate exam and then become an agent, like 100% of the agents i was working with. AnnMarie worked her way up, learned the entire process, not just the sales part and that makes her so much more useful and valuable for my projects. Shes pretty much in a league of her own. Therefore, i dont just have an agent that SELLS (bla) i have a full circle, fully knowledgeable, hard to find, very valuable agent, that i actually trust to take the lead and that i will continue to use on every single one of my projects. Thanks again AnnMarie! Have 2 more coming your way! :)

The goal is to make your home as appealing as possible to the most potential buyers, before photos of your home are taken. Staging your home can include anything from redecorating to rearranging furniture, cleaning or other aesthetic strategies to present the home in the best possible light. You can do it yourself, have your real estate agent guide you, or hire a staging company.
In most cases, the buyer pays for the home inspection.
If someone is selling a home that needs repairs - yet chooses not to fix them - they may choose to list a property as-is. Disclosures and inspections are typical steps in the process. In an as-is sale, a buyer is willingly purchasing the home in its current state with full knowledge of its condition.
When selling a property, it is incumbent upon the seller to disclose any details about the home that might negatively affect its value.
Factors such as the time of year and market conditions play a big role in how quickly a property sells. How you price, market and stage your home are also very important variables that will affect how long a home remains on the market.
Any fixture that is ‘attached’ or built into the house typically remains. For example, if your house has built-in bookshelves, they typically stay with the house. The same is true of kitchen or bathroom fixtures, and fireplaces. Exceptions and details can be discussed during the negotiation process.
There are many factors that affect the housing market, but understanding what to expect - and being prepared beforehand - can make buying and selling a property at the same time possible.
A professional appraiser will inspect a property and compare it to other similar homes in the area. From there, a fair market value is determined. Unless you plan on paying all cash for a property, you will likely need a home appraisal.
A real estate agent is paid as part of the closing costs, which comes out of the sale proceeds at the end of the process.
Your first step is to hire a real estate agent you trust. Together, you will set an asking price, prepare your home for listing, list and market your property, negotiate an offer, and close on the sale.
Sharing particular information when connecting with a real estate agent can help give you an idea of your home’s value in today’s market. The in-person expertise of a real estate agent will give you a more accurate opinion of your home’s value.
