We have been out of town for a while and we're excited to see a local diner in the Batavia area, of course we had to give it a try. In hindsight, we probably shouldn't have. The server was friendly enough, not overly personable but she did her job well. The food was a mess, my omelette was a massive let down, the onions and peppers weren't cooked(still crunchy and cool to the touch) there was a single piece of old-was cooked an hour ago and held- bacon laid through the middle which made cutting through it a challenge. My daughters donut holes were the color and texture of hush puppies- actually, they may have even been too dark for even that. The server took them off the bill without us even asking, but they never should have made it out of the kitchen to begin with. My other daughters hashbrowns we're a strange mix of not cooked enough--mixed with some that were WAY over cooked and burnt. All-in-all it was a pretty disappointing brunch out with my daughters. The highlight of the visit was the server, and again, she wasn't great. Side note: The floors(except the section that has been covered in laminate) are caked in old grease, especially the bathrooms and the front door threshold.

Went here on a Sunday after church expecting to be busy and it was not. I was wondering if it had something to do with the labor shortage, and I think it did. We say ourselves but it took awhile for anyone to serve us or take our order. Then it took awhile to get our food. But I'm not complaining because I know how hard they were working and were still keeping a positive attitude. The food was good, your typical breakfast food. Nothing special but still very filling.

Wow! Wow! So happy I tried this spot! I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten…the chicken was spicy, crispy and cooked to perfection! The blueberry french toast is also a must try! The biscuits …

I went to the Poked Yolk for the second time. I do not think I have eaten my food any faster than I have before. The service was excellent and very attentive, the food was divine, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming and inviting. I would …
