Decent park if you're in the area, but definitely not worth a special trip. Views are nice and the facilities are okay. Being so close to the airport, there is constant jet noise. The beach area gets very crowded on nice days, probably because it is so accessible.
Skyline Trini
Bluff Interpretive Trail is a short hike to great views with plenty of signs to educate about plant life and Native American usage for them. The restrooms closest to the parking lot has not been maintained and is out of order. There are some great ones near the beach down the road. McSorley Creek Trail is lightly traveled, easy to follow and filled with mushrooms and wonderful water sounds, places to rest and meditate on The Word. Over all lovely experience!
Curious Life
Beautiful park to take your dogs for a great outdoor adventure. The girls enjoyed their walk. And also keep your dog on a leash and pick up after your dog. Parking can be a little challenging even on weekdays, but people come and go, you should find somewhere to park with little patience 😉

Beautiful little park for family outings! Multiple tables for an picnic, a little playground for small kids, sandy beach area, rocky beach area, benches for sitting and relaxing while looking at the ocean. The little trail is an easy walk and it’s beautiful with multiple benches to sit and rest.

The parks website says $10 but there are quite a few state parks here worth seeing so the $30 annual pass is a great investment.
Last time I was there it was a quarter for 3 minutes I think and I believe you have to be a camper
Because some people like planes?
You cannot harvest shellfish from Saltwater. They have biotoxic warning signs posted.
Yes. When you drive into the main parking area for the park, the water is on the right and the camping area is on the left. The camping area is not on the beach but in the forest if you turn left when you enter the parking lot. It's a 5 min walk from the beach.
I don't believe so. It is a day park with beach front and trails.
Good point. I don't know about camping but access is $10
It's not open. If you want a place that is close but still nice I would try Dash Point State Park. I'm not sure of the cost.
The gates are open at 8 am, and close at dusk. You should be able to get out anytime if you are camping there. Keep in mind this park closes up the camping area after Labor day now.
A national park pass will not work for this Washington State park
I would check out the Washington State parks and recreation for that information.
Yes, just not in the area where the reef is where people scuba dive. From the website, "A recreational license is required for fishing and shellfish harvesting at Washington state parks. For regulations, fishing season information, or to purchase a recreational license, visit the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife website."
Not that you would be able to get to or are safe to eat
They do close the gates at dusk, not usually the time listed. I think they try to make sure people are out first though. So make sure you're out before it's dark.
Not that I have seen
Yes they have designated pits , but if I were you I'd call to WA State Parks HQ to verify locations that allow that and info on burn bans.
I don't believe there's any state parks in the area that allow fireworks. There is a fireworks event going on in city of SeaTac at the Angle lake Park. That's actually just one town over from Des Moines less than 10 minute drive from that area.
People, boats, kayaks, and wake boards are fine to be in the water. The Sound is part of the Pacific, so it is ocean all ocean water.
https://washington.goingtocamp.com/ You can make reservations and check availability here, hope this helps.
They do. It's open seasonally, so you need to check if there are spots available for when you camp.
Go to their website, scroll down and click on camping. Has links to pricing and reservations and everything you need. It's a standard campsite. Prices range depending on season. https://parks.state.wa.us/578/Saltwater
Yep, can't camp right now. Not sure the reason, but the camping area was of limits and not getting used as of mid April.
25 to 35 dollars a day, but camping is closed for the year.💩
Yep, more fun when the tide is out.💩
It's typically about 6 feet is where the visibility clears up throughout the Puget Sound
No dog area persay but you can walk your dog if you have it on a leash...hope that helped..??
Not sure about cling.....camping is May 15th i believe
Dash Point State Park is open year round and has RV sites with ultities unlike Saltwater.
