Nice park to take a walk at with the family and the pup! I love the trail by the spire and how it feels so accessible to new hikers. My only concern is that there are no physical maps to use so I had to be glued to my phone to make sure I went the right way since I wasn't familiar with the area. I also didn't realize that the park was separated by the road at first so I went to one side and didn't even realize the other existed until I was leaving!

Can you easily use a stroller here on trails?

Alexandria Miller | Aug 6, 2021
Elinor Ottey | Aug 7, 2021

A stroller with bigger tires could certainly manage the trail but there are roots that might make it difficult for a regular umbrella type stroller. The trails through Spanaway Park across the street are all navigable by stroller.

Does it cost money to come here?

Lacee Browne | Jan 4, 2020
Amy MacDonald | Jan 5, 2020

The forest itself doesn't cost anything. Spanaway Lake across the street charges to park. The forest is well walked enough that you shouldn't worry about anything happening to you.
