Hi K.G. Yes, there will be parades rolling down St. Charles Avenue up to Canal Street. The first parade starts around 1pm and they'll block off the route about an hour or so before. I would maybe consider Tulane Avenue to get into the city and parking on that side of the route and walking across to us. It may be helpful to download the WDSU parade tracker app so you can see where the parades are that day.

I'm a local and walk there when I want to visit. I do know that with purchase(s) you can have your parking validated. I believe the purchase(s) have to be $20 or more and that gets you a discounted rate. Not sure where in the mall to have parking validated other than the security podium at the entrance adjacent to Neiman Marcus - Last Call. Hope this helps and enjoy your visit!

Yes there's parking at the mall and street parking as well. The mall parking is available for as mamy hours as you'd like, it is priced per hour. Validation reduces the cost.
