Can be a better facility for the people. Don't seem to care to much. Good people suffers.

I am totally impressed with the facility, the outreach networks, the hospitality and the wealth of knowledge displayed by Mr. Clarence and Miss Gail. This facility is certainly a great asset to the individuals who are housed here, and the community.

No, you do not, for overnight shelter. However, for residential programs, you are required to stay clean and sober.
I am presently looking with Indeed and Express.
Job or volunteer?
Just follow the rules n regulations, they will accept you!no matter what!we. Feed the homeless at these shelters!
I don't think they can help but they for sure will find someone who can
Yes. You would not be able to be on the residential program working part-time (full-time, yes) but you are welcome to sleep and eat here as well as use other services such as mail, clothing, etc. Please come and talk with the front office during office hours, 9-4.
Hello, Ginger. Yes, we could definitely use those items, thank you!
Yes depending if u been there before. Need Id and TB TEST.
Try the New Orleans Shelter and Engagement Center 2nd floor of old VA hospital/CRRC day center.. harder to get in but they have programs for housing and other resources and counseling.. laundry is done once a week in the shelter and can be done once downstairs at CRRC.. You can stay there for up to a full year, come and go as you please, and have lockable storage for your things.. NOSEC provides "amnesty lockers" for drugs, paraphernalia and weapons that you may check in and out of at the security booth anytime.. they provide 3 meals and like 6 different shower times.. it is also co-ed sleeping.. Ozanam Inn has men's only programs and they are religion based, you may not leave your things there and no lockable storage, and the check-in/check-out times are counterproductively early as most shelters.. good luck! P.S. NOSEC phone number can be found at CRRC/oldVA front desk.. you must CALL and call and call and call to get in.
Yes
I'm sorry shelters by law can't give u info. the best time to go looking is when meals are being served. Good luck
Arrive early to secure bed.
Yes they do. Only on Thursday. But you have to be there at 7 am on Thursday's to sign up for id.
