I scheduled a donation pickup for an arm chair that was only a few years old and still in great shape, just downsizing and it no longer fit in my apartment. After I scheduled it online, I called to verify they could enter the apartment to pick it up as it is a heavy piece of furniture and we were not allowed to leave items in the breezeway at the apartment. I was told this was not an issue and they would be able to pick it up. Fast forward to pickup day, the driver calls me to verify pickup details and tells me he cannot enter the apartment and that it needs to be not only outside but also downstairs, I live on the third floor. I mentioned my previous conversation with customer service to him and he told he cannot help me and I can reschedule if I can get it outside and downstairs. Obviously, there is a large communication issue and lack of customer service. I will be donating my items elsewhere.
