oob babe
I hadnt been to this Goodwill in about 6 months. The pics show nicely stocked rows & rows of clothing . This past visit A couple of weeks ago was a "SMH" moment, again & again. The racks had just enough to fill them whereas normally you may have to use some muscles to look at a particular item. Then there was a sign posted stating the lack of clothing was not due to no donations, it was due to no employee's to work and sort and price & hang & ect.!!! (That was def one of my SMH >>>Shake My Head moments!) And Last is totally ridiculous and def not caring or thinking of their LOYAL customer's.... When I slowly began to see a pattern, apparently the 2 employees got the memo & made sure Almost every peice of clothing on those racks were name brand, at least 75% anyways. Therefore as we know well, it was all UPCHARGED! Some of you can and I have found at the department stores for less!! Thanks Goodwill for kicking us (your loyal customers) while we ar down!

Sorry but I’m under impressed. I understand they are under staffed but at least post proper opening and closing times on the websites. Brought clean very usable items a number of times because web site said they were open, not the case! …Hello Kathleen, I am sorry to read this. I did follow up, and there was a miscommunication with the posting on the website. We do our best to keep our hours update-to-date daily as much as possible, but sometimes we miss a posting. Regardless, we should have taken the donations. I have spoken to the store manager and she is reviewing customer service practices with the team. We strive to offer excellent customer service on all levels, but sometimes we miss the mark. For that, we are sorry! Thank you for letting us know.

I can tell you that they won't take mattresses or probably couches or recliners.
Yes
Hi Susan, thanks for your question. Yes, we accept both.
I felt safe here. Mandated practices are being observed.
Hi, here is the list of items we accept and do not accept: https://goodwillnne.org/donate/acceptable-donations/
I believe they do. They have bins set up outside the drop-off area that are sectioned off by category and I believe there is one for the books
Hi John, Thank you for comment. Please contact 207-774-6323 after 8 a.m. tomorrow and ask for Brian.
We are accepting drive up donations, but it is now touchless. There will be labeled bins outside your usual store donation site. You will sort your donations into the correct bins. The bins will be: Soft items: These include clothing, shoes, linen, and accessories such as belts and purses Hard items: These would be your household items, books, toys etc … Glass and breakable: Easily breakable items, or items made out of glass Simply take your items out of your bag and kindly place them in the appropriate container. We ask that you keep your bag with you (if you brought your donations in a bag). Please do not bring oversized donations such as a couch at this time because we will not be able to assist you (social distancing safety), so please hold onto those for now. Goodwill employees will monitor this process from behind locked doors and cannot assist donors for safety reasons. We cannot give donation receipts at this time, however there will be a scanable QR code at all locations.
We do, thank you. You can find a full list of what we can accept here: https://goodwillnne.org/donate/acceptable-donations/
Go to the website directly
No
Stop by and drop them at the local library. Many will give you a letter for it to be a tax deduction. I would call before I dropped them off at goodwill though.
