We camped for two night here in the state park. Park is great, the sites are leveled and concrete. The bathroom showers are ok knowing that are beach facilities. They have a store in the campground that has almost all the basic needs you are looking for. We ate dinner at Castaways seafood and grill. Very nice haddock. Great views as well. The only thing that want great was the ocean temperature between 57-60 degrees cold .

It was amazing, I've been going here every year since I was born, as well as my sisters, my mom, my grandparents, my uncles, aunts, everyone, around 55 years probably, it has water on lost sites electric for tents and campers, bathrooms, beach is not far at all, its in a nice area by boardwalks and shops, beautiful.

Visited during the off season, it was a very chilly and foggy morning but everything was very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Worth a visit if you ever want to sit and watch the sun come up, good beach to do so.

Stayed here in October 2021, can't recall if I already left a review or not? The campground itself was great, and SO close to the beach/water! Amazing. A really quiet, peaceful campground. The ONLY reason that I didn't give it 5/5 stars was because of the bathroom situation! One of the ladies bathhouses was closed for our entire stay, and we had to trek over the another one --- it wasn't too far, and that wouldn't have been a big deal, except that it was a busy weekend & lots of people were crowded in there, particularly on Sunday morning to shower! And for some reason they had one entrance/exit door locked, so we were all cramming in & out of one shared doorway! A little off-putting during the best of times, never mind during COVID! Anyway, another nice thing is that the location is good, close to lots of stores and restaurants. We had literally JUST picked up our new truck camper, so had lots of shopping & setup to do! It was incredibly convenient. And again, just so beautiful!

They are allowed on beach except during beach hours. Basically not from 10 to 6 while the life guards are present. But along the river they are allowed anytime and their is plenty of room for them to run in the sand
Bought firewood at market basket was not a problem and was eay cheaper

This same question has been asked sooooo many times. There are rules but yes. And dogs are not allowed on the beaches.
We have a travel trailer and paid 22 dollars a night. Not sure about tent sites.
There's usually a food truck or two in the last parking lot (by the river), but no formal concession stand.

As I understand it, this is permanent.

You can camp adjacent to the beach, just not actually on the sand.

No beach parking is free enjoy
