Really beautiful and quiet park! There's a little trail you can walk around the lake and there are less than 1 mile long trails around the park itself. Lived near here for a long time and never knew it was there!

A tucked away magical little haven, hidden in the middle of the busy world. Absolutely love this place!

What a lovely park! I've lived near here for 30 years and am embarassed to say that today was my first visit. I was investigating the hiking trails for a group event later this month. I found the trails (woodland roads, really) to be very well maintained and quite wide. Very comfortable for hiking with our year-round tick concerns. The trails are interconnected in a network that allows you to hike a decent distance, even though the park is rather small. I suggest you download the map from the website or snap a pic of the large map in the parking lot before you head into the woods. Most trail intersections are marked with numbered posts that are easily found on the map, even if the trail signage is missing (which it is on some posts). You won't get lost - civilization is all around you! They also have a Monarch Butterfly facility, a delightful bench structure for a family or small group chat, a picnic pavilion and a couple ponds. I'm very impressed and look forward to many more visits.
