This review is based on my most recent experience, which was similar to what A. Donaldson described in a previous review, except that I did not have the good fortune of getting there very early. After fasting 10 hours, I went elsewhere with my doctor's lab order, which has led to problems in how the claim for the lab work was processed by my insurance company. To add insult to injury, this lab's website still says it closes at 3 :00 PM, Monday through Friday, and there is no way of knowing before you get there and find the door locked that "We don't draw blood after 2:30 PM." Another review here even posts a photo of the door sign showing the closing time as 3:00 PM. Some positive reviews say that drawing blood takes a few minutes, so I wonder, if they're in the process of drawing blood at 2:30 PM, whether they yank out the syringe and kick the patient out the door. Really, when a business states its hours of operation, it should state the hours that it is open to customers and not include the time in which staff get ready to open and later close up shop.

I made an appointment online for 2:45. Luckily, I got there very early, because the staff member said she doesn't draw blood after 2:30 and she didn't know why people were making appointments online (umm, because it's an option?). I live in VT and had to take a ferry here (it's where my insurance company told me to go), so I would have been VERY annoyed if I showed up at my appointment time and was declined. The place itself is pretty run down, but the draw was quick and painless and I was out in less than 10 minutes. The staff member was nice enough, but I'll likely go elsewhere in the future.
