I’ve been in debt for a few years now and have been scared of the phone call and being judged because of my debt . American consumer credit was not like that at all, they were very sweet and understanding . I finally feel stress free and wish I had called years ago ! I definitely recommend calling ! Arthur was an amazing help , very kind and gave me all the information i needed ,thank you !

Questions & Answers

I am only working part time, and cannot keep up with my debt. How can your company help me. Can they lower the interest rates on my cards. I have closed a couple of my accounts, to lower the payments.

What are the pro and cons of this program

Hi, Tracy That's a great question. The pros of a DMP is you make only one monthly payment, your interest rates are reduced, which results in a lower monthly payment, and you will pay off your debt faster. The cons of a DMP is that you will be required to close your credit card accounts, you must make consistent timely payments, and not every creditor will participate. If you would like more information, please reach out to one of our certified credit counselors to discuss your particular circumstance.

i have a creditor named barclays that is in my contract....i get a letter saying that i have to pay 200 dollars court cost for judgement against me......why did this happen?......

Im not sure why this has happened without taking an in-depth analysis of your situation, but it sounds like you were or are currently being sued by Barclays.
