$18 for use of electric in Nov $44 delivery charge!!! I don't even turn on my lights!! What a ripoff-- disgusting what they charge!! They know they have a monopoly in conneticut.

Company not only over charges customers but the CEO makes 9 MIllion a year. CT customers pay a whopping .26 cents per kwh for power!!!!! .26 CENTS!!!!!! that is insane!!!!. I don't mind paying for delivery but prime example... I use $50 worth of electricity, my delivery charge is $100.... screw this company!!!

Oh, yes!! I agree. After being on hold for 24 minutes the last time I had to deal with customer service, the rep was simply not willing to work with me and quite frankly she was curt and some what rude. The cost for electricity is terribly expensive now and another bill that I have difficulty paying. They treat you as though you are intentionally trying to rip them off and skip out on their bill. It really stinks that we cannot choose who we would like to provide and maintain our electrical services. Yes, we can choose a provider for our electricity however we still have to put up with Eversource regardless. Their unwillingness to work with their clients just supports the fact that all they care about is getting their $ immediately.
Paid my bill on the 15th. Power turned off on the 16th. Called and got into a shouting match with the supervisor. She said I didn't speak to anyone personally... when I asked her where on the shutoff notice it says I have to do that, silence! Said since I didn't speak to anyone, they have no way of knowing I paid. Can you believe that? You call the number on the shutoff notice, pay your bill and the next day they turn your power off! Now they want a deposit and $48 turn on fee, because when you pay, the hole in their system doesn't notify them that the bill is paid! How incompetent is that? You pay the bill with Eversource on the Eversource phone number that's on the notice and they say they no way of knowing you paid... she said we still haven't recieved the payment, I said, well someone did because it was withdrawn from my account on the 15th and today is the 16th! Pathetic!
