I feel violated and angry with this company. They took my truck from the original wrecker and removed contents from my truck and put it in the bed of my truck that has a non waterproof cover and it rained. Items are destroyed. Broken art that I had JUST bought, my WEDDING INVITATIONS, work flyers and so much more. Now I have to file ANOTHER claim this time on this company. They even left a uniform patch in my back seat which is how I figured out who did it. This is costing me more time and frustration along with the damages to the items. Completely unacceptable. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the customer service rep and manager were nice. Update. Taken down to 1 star because they lied to me last week and told my insurance company they were not liable for any damages THEY caused. They tried to blame it on another towing company AFTER admitting they are the one's that did the damage.

I sold a car to Cash 4 Cars and Copart was the go between you might say. I had some reservations, concerning the process. The customer service rep at Copart was courteous. She listened to my concerns and took measures to ensure a smooth process. The tow truck driver showed up on time, with check in hand filled out properly. Nice gentleman. Easy going and pleasant. If only copart would keep their pick up lots cleaned off. Easy to get flat tires
All their auctions are online. Some vehicles are dealer only, and some the general public can buy. You'll need to sign up and make an account to do the auctions.
What Joel said. If use a credit card you will pay the unsecured buyer fee rate. If you use money orders or wire transfers you'll get a 25 or so dollar lower fee. Money orders are $0.79 at Food Lion
The auctions are on Monday. So Wednesday Thursday and Friday they are willing to bring cars down from storage for you to see. I have had them bring cars donwn on Monday and Tuesday, but they have also told me "no" on those days. If it's at all possible, they will accommodate you. As far as walking around and seeing a car that is already in the sales lot? Any day of the week that they are open. They have a very large sales area and you can walk around at your leisure.

This is not a place to buy just the parts but if you've got a project car you're working on, you can get a car for parts here and you won't have to keep looking. Once you're done, scrap the dissected car for a few dollar
Yes, unless the vehicle in question is a heavy tow vehicle. Copart will not assist with any loading or unloading of heavies, nor will we help to unblock a heavy if it is blocked by another heavy. This is due to possible damage of machines.

The only way to see the price that an auctioned car goes for is to watch the live auction. Most insurance companies use copart to auction off cars that are declared totalled
