No. HOPE of Winston-Salem stands for Help Our People Eat. On the weekends, they go into 31 areas of the city to feed children who are food insecure. You maybe asking about HOPE (Housing Opportunities to Prevent Eviction). If so, you need to call 211 and ask for Housing Opportunities to Prevent Eviction. Once your application is filed, then you would follow up with Legal Aid of Winston-Salem for your status. Last I head Housing Opportunities to Prevent Eviction was out of funds, but it never hurts to ask. Salvation Army Center of Hope will help with rental assistance too.

Do you guys accept clothing for donation? As well toys, books, and movies?

Hi Olivia. This is Scott with H.O.P.E. of Winston-Salem. We do not typically take on clothes, but we do distribute children's socks on our distribution before Christmas each year. We do take on book donations, but not toys or movies. Thank you!
