There's plenty of things for families to do! Loved the black berry and lemonade shake ups. We spotted the pumpkins we wanted while on the hayride. We had a blast. Always a great time.

Really a nice place, plenty for the kids to do. Food available which is quite good. Recommend this place. 1 1/2 -2 hours seems to be enough time to enjoy yourself here.

We had a ton of fun. There was lots of activities, and concessions. Pumpkins were good priced. Our only complaint was that we didnt really know where to go, to do the activities. Staff should definitely give "directions" to what's happening and where to do things. We missed the wagon ride. Can't wait until my daughter is a little older to be able to do more stuff. This place is a true hidden gem. At only 6 dollars a person it's a cheap way to spend a very enjoyable afternoon. Schaefer's offers a fantastic lunch menu that boasts rib-eye steak sandwiches for only 6 dollars to hot dogs and plain hamburgers. I almost guarantee you find something you enjoy. I personally highly recommend the steak sandwich. Also you won't find a sweeter tea around. The pumpkins and gourds are well priced and the staff very happy and eager to assist. The hay ride offers a nice and scenic look at the farm and a small look at rural Illinois beauty and life. This is a family run establishment and you can tell because they make you feel like part of the family. I also recommend the corn maize as a fun time killer before the car ride home. Good way to stretch your legs before that cooped up car ride.Thank you so much! We appreciate it. 😁
