I needed to transfer from an out of state clinic. From the moment I spoke with Crossroads I knew it would be a good fit. I was impressed at the the professionalism and felt no judgment from anyone. Everyone who helped me was very nice and considerate of my unique situation. The intake process was lengthy, however, I spent very little time waiting. 95% of my time in intake I was being helped not just waiting to be helped. I did not want to leave the previous clinic because they were really great and I worried I would be un happy at another clinic, but Crossroads treated me with the same understanding and compassion that my previous clinic did and I know I chose the right place. Thank you to everyone who helped me transition with ease and comfort. It was much appreciated.

Now, I have had some positively bad experiences as a patient here at Crossroads but even so, I have had se extremely good ones that made some amazing memories in my experience as a recovering addict. When I had Miss Laura as my counselor, she aways had me leaving feeling positive about my life when things got bad and had me feeling so, so down. But she also got me in and out quick when I needed to be somewhere in a hurry. Then there is my current counselor, who I was involuntarily switched to because of the fact that my insurance is paying for my medication. I feel that's silly because either way I am still self paying with my own insurance plan and not Medicaid. Anyways - this lady doesn't recognize me even though we've had like 10 sessions, doesn't remember when I'm going to increase phases to submit the paperwork. She didn't remember that she already filled out my yearly paperwork and flagged me from dosing just to wait for her to finish with patients just to have to remind her we already filled it out. This happened over 5 times. So yeah, some of the counselors are very disorganized with no system to keep track of their patients - or it could just me her, idk. All in all... This clinic saved and changed my life and continues to do so. I feel their is a stigmatism in front of what methadone really is and it's highly misunderstood when in actuality it's helping people stay sober and to live normal lives when they otherwise wouldn't be able to or failed to do so time and time again.

I have to go to work early. Gotta be there at 730. Any way I can schedule an appointment. Or get my first visit done by 730 a.m.?

Crossroads | Sep 16, 2020

Thank you for contacting us, Sean. For the initial appointment, new patients must arrive on Wednesdays or Thursdays from 5 am - 7am. New patients are seen on a first come first serve basis, and the doctor is only able to see a certain amount of new patients per day. We ask that you arrive as close to 5 am (4:45 am preferably) as possible. The first visit can take a few hours to fill out paperwork and so forth so please be prepared for this. If you have any additional questions, please contact us at 800-805-6989. Thank you!
