Very disappointed that after being a client since 2006 they couldn't work in my pet for a painful back issue. Suggested I take her to the emergency clinic or wait 3 weeks for an appointment. Not professional or caring.

My pets have alot of health and behavioral issues and they've been handled well here. The drs are knowledgeable and caring as well.

Yesterday I went into Banfield for the first time needing prescription food for one of my dogs after driving to two different vets who were out of it. Got the food in PetSmart but was waiting on a fax prescription from my vet so Banfield could give me a card after they verified it. This was delayed for at least 20 minutes as we waited for the prescription to get faxed over. The receptionist couldn't have been nicer and was helping me with the problem and even checked with a Banfield vet to see if they could give me a prescription. Luckily it finally got faxed over and she made me a copy to keep and gave me a card so I wouldn't have to go through all this again. I believe her name is Ariel and she was so sweet and helpful and I hope Banfield knows what a great employee they have in Ariel. I really appreciated her help.

We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
