It's good camping. The day use can get crazy. Take Ball Mt. Road not Meiss lake road. I just started as the new camp host and so far it's been quiet. Paved pads for RVs all are back in except the double that is a pull through. Bring drinking and cooking water, I don't know what is wrong with it. I used it by boiling it for my pasta and didn't get sick. There is a walking trail all the way around it. Bass, Trout and Catfish in the lake. No powerboats allowed only rowing, paddling and small sailing boat allowed.

Yes! you can swim there and it's actually really nice except for the mosquitos. Just a heads up take repellent.
Yes they are, there was no running water when I was there on 6/6/20 -6/13/20
