We've adopted several pets from them, they've always been kind and courteous and the truly love the animals in their care.

I love Brother Wolf Animal Rescue

They delete them
Unless you want them to legit kill your dog, please don't bring him/her there...
$200 – Puppies (6 months & under) $135 – Adult Dogs (Over 6 months)
Yes,i think that you can if you have your worker's permit, it would be such a wonderful place to work it's a really good place!!! Wishing you the best of luck!!
I would check with Brother Wolf and see if they have any volunteers on staff who might be able to pet sit for a couple of weeks
Not sure why I got this. I just visited there to inquire about a pup. You should call Brother Wolf directly. Good luck.
If you can, try to contact Eric at Brother Wolf. He is an expert on Cats. Sure hope your new fur baby will be alright.
Asheville humane has help choices on their website under resources
That is where you go. They are open mon 10-6, wed, thurs, sat 10-6 and fri 10-7. The weather messed up the hours friday and saturday
We adopted our dog and are happy with Brother Wolf. They cared for ours as well as our daughter's. These accusations are in poor taste. Maybe whoever is complaining should start their own rescue!
Free
Sonetimes they do. They are good about updating their website. Check them out, they are a wonderful business to deal with.
Check the website
I don't know I just drop sheet off i would call and ask
Call the Buncombe County Shelter
Why not? Thats what they (brother wolf) are in existence for.
If you need to surrender your dog, youll need to contact Brother Wolf during their times of business. You can also call them and speak with someone who can help guide you in the surrendering of your dog.
No
That typically can be done with a parent. There are many different needs at Brother Wolf and the volunteers are grately valued.
The Asheville Humane Society used to help with that up to a certain dollar amount as long as they had the funding
Brother Wolf is wonderful about all shots and care their animals receive. You may rest assured that all is well, and they will recommend a vet, if one is needed. I have adopted a wonderful lady-dog named Sparrow and she is the light of our lived.
I would definitely call Brother Wolf and ask for their recommendation.
They are a no kill shelter. Best alternative in town. However, they only take them if they have space. The humane society is known to have put down a lot of animals altho i think they have new management now. Bro wolf is best. Esp to adopt. If you adopt from there, and it doesnt work out, you must bring the animal back to them. $100 to adopt a kitten is what i paid. And you will sign your life away. Good place to donate money. Only no kill shelter in town.
Yes
Hi Susan, our groomer does do anal glands, but your dog may need to be seen by a veterinarian if it's impacted.
Yes you need to make an appt. & last I remembered it was 8-10 weeks
You cannot drop off a found dog. It must, by law, be taken to Buncombe County Animal Shelter. There it will receive any needed medical care and be put on a stray hold for the owner to have a chance to find it. After that, it will go to Asheville Humane Society for adoption and sometimes, it will go to Brother Wolf.
I won't say never, but it occurs sometimes. Your best bet would be to call and ask and then get put on a waiting list. Also, check out beagle rescue groups. Hope your dream comes true.
Asheville veterinary associates
Try contacting them on Facebook also if you have one. In my experience they respond quickly. Sorry to hear about your dog.
Brother Wolf can probably help
6pm. Fridays is 7pm.
You might consider getting online and completing an application to adopt before making the drive. Excellent No -Kill Shelter!! Sure hope the adoption works out.
BWAR usually doesn't help with that but you could ask.
Great! Call their main number
I do not believe they have a clinic here. This is a rescue and adoption center. Try a local vet instead. Good luck!
Go to their website and click get involved, then follow prompts. One is required to do a basic training, the trainings are listed under events. Thank you for volunteering!
You should have gotten an email response by now and the appointment will be about a week or so after
I was in there yesterday and did not see any. However that doesn't mean they aren't there.
You just need to fill out an online adoption application and once it's approved make an appointment to see the kitties
No we just have kittens.
I dont think there is but i could be wrong
You can call or look on website
I don't know what all their adoption fees pay for, but there are fees, except for a couple of dogs for whom the fees have already been prepaid.
What's a voucher?
Call them and ask. They get different types in all the time.
All different breeds and mixes. Availability changes daily. I would recommend visiting multiple times for finding the best pet. They also accept volunteers to help which is another great way to find the perfect one.
Not sure have seen them take animals from out of the area
18 unless you have a parent/ guardian volunteer with you.
Try the ASPCA! I had a whole litter of kittens (given birth my a stray) neutered and spayed for free at the ASPCA, they have special days you have get it done for free!
ASPCA spay neuter Clinic in Asheville does low cost and I believe almost every day give them a call and they can get you scheduled. Most organizations in town utilize them for spay neuter services.
You can go here https://www.bwar.org/resources/pet-help-desk-dogs/ And if you need more assistance you can go to the "contact us" tab to send an email.
If you check on the BWAR Facebook page you can get a direct answer
I believe so. I know for sure the Buncombe Cty Shelter does
All our animals up for adoption are on our website bwar.org/adopt
You should probably call and talk to someone.
Im sorry what?
Call the main number and ask. Often they have bunnies at the center or in foster care, available for adoption. Excellent organization for rescue animals.
Yes Tammy, there is a Brother Wolf located in Mcdowell on S. Main Street
Yes Beth, there is A Mcdowell County chapter. It is located at 74 S. Main Street.
No. I went in with a dog I had just bought and the woman lied to me saying he was healthy but soon realized after buying he was not okay. They won't do anything except shrug there shoulders at you . They didn't even have a vet th y could recommend me . Spoke with 2 employees none really knew anything but yeah they won't help you .
The building directly across the street called Re-tail.They are an extension of Brother Wolff and have incredible people who work there that can help him with cat and dog food as well as other things they may need. I even get my kitty cat, Shelden, groomed there. They're really great! :)
